We don’t have volunteers at Reality, we have DOERS. In James, chapter 1, we are told to be “DOERS of the Word and not hearers only.” What we DO for God is not voluntary but the only sane response to the amazing goodness He has given to us. So, we are not volunteers, we are DOERS.
We call our team of doers Team Reality, which is divided into several ministry teams that serve on Sunday morning. These are not the only ways to serve, but they are the ones that we can’t do without.
These are the smiling faces you see when you first walk into the building. The Welcome Team does just that, it welcomes people to the church. If you like to smile and talk with people, then this is a great doer opportunity for you.
The Ushers do a little welcoming, but mostly they make sure the service runs smoothly and they also receive the offering. If you’re looking for something simple that won’t make you miss any of the service or have to show up early, then Ushers is a good team for you.
This team is pretty obvious. They are the band on stage that leads us in worship every Sunday morning. They are all talented musicians, but it doesn’t take perfection to be a part of this team. If you think you have any musical talent or just want to give it a try, then let us know and we’ll set you up to try out.
This is our children’s ministry for children birth to fifth grade. If you love kids and want to help teach them about Jesus, then this is a great ministry for you. You can learn more about this on the Reality Kids page.
If you have a heart for youth (middle and high school) then this could be a great opportunity for you to really make an impact in young people’s lives.
There are many other ways to be a doer. In fact, you could even make something up. It’s what we call ADDING SOME AWESOME!
If you are at all interested in doing or want to know more about what we do, then please drop us a line using this contact form.
